Slow Cooker Coney Dog Sauce
(serves 6-8)
This is a great way to dress up some grilled hot dogs. My husband and I both agree we could probably eat hot dogs with this Coney sauce once every week. We first used it at my son's Trash Bash (a garbage truck-themed birthday party) and have been addicted ever since!
1 lb ground beef, cooked and crumbled
2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. dried minced onion
1 TBSP ground mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. Cayenne pepper
- Combine cooked ground beef and other ingredients in slow cooker.
- Cook on low 4 hours.
- Serve on hot dogs or baked potatoes.
Enjoy!
