Chili Cheese Bake

Here's a fast and easy dinner!


Chili Cheese Bake
(serves 4-6)

1 pound ground chuck
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup vegetable oil
7 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
1 (15.5 oz.) can chili beans, with sauce
2 cans tomatoes with green chiles
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a larges cast iron skillet, cook ground chuck and onion.  Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, bring oil to temperature and cook hash browns according to package directions.
  4.  Combine beef mixture with chili beans and tomatoes. Add seasoned salt, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin.  Pour mixture over hash browns in skillet and top with cheese.
  5. Bake until mixture is heated through, about 20 minutes.
